Every day, we help our members take steps toward greater financial success – including our student members! With our $20,000 Scholarship Program, we offer the young adults in our communities the opportunity to apply for and earn one of eight $2,500 scholarships, available to scholars who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to community service.
You MUST have your application and supporting documents postmarked/delivered no later than 5 p.m. on April 30, 2025 to be eligible.
ELIGIBILITY
Our scholarship program is open to graduating high school seniors who will enroll in and are accepted into an undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational -technical school and to continuing education students who are enrolled into an undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school and are members of APCU Center Parc or whose parents, grandparents or legal guardians are members – by the time of entry.
SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS AVAILABLE
Four (4) scholarships of $2,500 each open to graduating high school seniors from our membershipTwo (2) scholarships of $2,500 each designated to graduating senior applicants affiliated with a postal-related organization (such as NRLCA, UPMA, APLUS, NAPS, or GAPCC)
Two (2) scholarships of $2,500 each designated for applicants continuing their education and enrolled in an undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school with at least 24 credit hours

To apply for your chance at winning a scholarship, complete our online form and upload or mail the following additional documents:
- High school and/or college transcript
- Resume: should include list of extracurricular activities, honors, awards, volunteer/work experience, etc.
- Letter of recommendation from a non-relative
- Essay: Minimum of 400 words answering the question: Identifying Community Needs for Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation: As you reflect on your experiences and aspirations, consider the following prompt related to entrepreneurship, business, and financial strategy. Describe a business idea you would develop to address a specific need in your local community. How would you identify the problem, design your solution, and implement your business plan to ensure sustainability and growth? Consider the financial aspects of your business idea, such as initial costs, revenue models, and potential challenges

HOW TO APPLY:
Fill out the online form below and upload or mail the following supplemental documents.
- High school transcripts
- List of extracurricular activities, honors, awards, volunteer experience, etc.
- Resume (optional)
- Essay: Minimum of 400 words answering the question: With artificial intelligence becoming more utilized in the business world, how do you feel it will impact financial institutions? How could AI be used in a positive manner in credit unions or banking? What, if any, threats does it pose to credit union members?
- Letter of recommendation from a non-relative
Applications and supporting documents must be received/postmarked no later than 5 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2024, in order to be eligible.
